Rugby's Rescue is a small non-profit rescue dedicated to "Rescuing, Saving, and Repeating" the process. Their main focus is rescuing dogs from surrounding Native American Reservations, where the growing dog population has been a big problem.
Last year we had over 9 dogs adopted out to their forever homes.
The beer tasting will take place from Noon- 4 pm. There will be beer vendors, artisan vendors as well as vendors providing fun stuff for your pooch – toys, food, treats etc...
You may bring your well behaved dog with you to the beer tasting.
Rugby's Rescue House appreciates the support, and funds raised go towards shelter, meds, food, spay and neuter programs and much more.
With fundraising events such as this event, Rugby's has been busy making a difference.
In 2023 Rugby's accomplished:
Rescued over 100 dogs
Found forever homes for 88 dogs
Rescued 9 cats
Transferred 12 dogs to partnering recues

The Background
Rugby's Rescue house was established in December 2019. Its founder, Amy Wilson, has worked in the veterinary industry for over 20 years and seen first hand the homeless and neglected dogs coming from the surrounding Indian reservations. In August 2005, Amy and her husband Rok adopted their first rescue dog after Hurricane Katrina. Rugby lived a very happy life until he passed away in November of 2018 at the age of 17. That is when Amy knew she wanted to start the rescue to fill the void Rugby left in their hearts. Since then our mission has always been to "Rescue, Save, and Repeat" the process while educating the community about the importance of spay/ neutering and vaccinations.
