Mountain Chile Cha Cha Trail Races

5k and 10k Races

The Mountain Chile Cha Cha Trail Race offers a 5K and 10k race. The races begin just outside downtown Pagosa Springs, CO at 9:00am on Reservoir River Ranch where you'll run along jeep and atv trails, with breathtaking views of the San Juan Mountains. The course offers a variety of terrain - from fast flats, moderate slow hill climbs, and rewarding downhills that are perfect for the experienced or new runner. There are great spots along the course for spectators to cheer on their runners. The 5k is one single loop and the 10k runs the loop twice.

After the race, head up the road to Town Park for the Patty Aragon Green Chile Classic. It's a green chile cook-off, salsa dip contest, with a beer garden, live music, margarita contest and of course lots of fun!
